Monday turned into a beautiful, warm and restful day. Max made pancakes and bacon for breakfast. We went to Orchard for dirt and Longs for Kleenex and some things for Desirae’s hair. She really seems to like the head band and does not complain about wearing it.
The neighbors had given us a bunch of lemons and Max decided we needed to make Lemon Meringue Pies. The filling was first on the agenda followed by seed planting, hot tub filter cleaning, poop scooping and then video game playing and homework (guess who was doing the homework)? After the filling cooled we made the meringue and the pies actually turned out DEEEElicious (as Desirae would say).
Kathy and Paul came over and we all had dessert (Desirae had ice cream) and it was comfirmed - DEEEElicious! I still need to get all the shells cleaned and will get some pictures of them when that is accomplished.
Amazing how time flies and chores stack up.
