Sunday at the Beach

Sunday arrived as a much nicer day; although, while we were having breakfast it did start raining, which caused a little worry. Of course Max had to chat up the local fisherman to get the scoop on surf fishing in the area. It was much warmer and it did not rain on us while we there (it did come down pretty good on the drive home).

This time we had more time and energy to work on our bulding and ended up with a very cool little "village". We had the opportunity to spend several hours playing in the sand and did not have to worry about getting sun burned, as Desirae was completely covered from head to foot with her hair shading her face most of the time.

When it was time to leave we decided to chase some waves. After a couple of waves I gave up and managed the camera (running backwards on a bum knee just did not work well). Desirae and Max had a great time and did quite well until they both finally got wet and we gave up and headed home. After changing into dry clothes, Desirae was asleep almost instantly and slept the entire trip home.

Mission accomplished - one exhausted and very happy child!

Later . . .
